8 reasons to visit Bali | Travel

What else do you think about when it’s baltic cold outside? That’s right, the sun on your skin and white sand beneath your toes. I don’t know about you guys, but I’m not a fan of the cold. I don’t mind the rain {weird, I know} but I truly dislike it when it’s cold. With the weather the last few weeks, it got me thinking, or more…dreaming of sun, sea & sand. Our family holidays are never ‘sun, sea & sand’ but more Family holidays in Haven – which are all well & good – don’t get me wrong! But, a girl can dream of those cocktails by the beach sort of days, right?

There are so many holiday destinations around the world that I have yet to visit. In reality, I’ll not get to visit them all {unless I win the lottery!} but the hope is there that in my lifetime I can at least tick off a good few. One destination on my travel bucket list has to be Bali – an Indonesian Island and it is known for its forested volcanic mountains, beaches & coral reefs.

I guess those three highlights are your first three reasons to visit Bali! So let me give you a fourth reason…

According to my sources, Bali is sunny all year round. I mean, is that even possible? It’s only eight degrees south of the Equator and on average gets 12-13hours of daylight every day! I mean, it’s not just me who thinks that sounds like paradise, right?

The Bali Villas to stay in during your time on this idyllic Indonesian Island is nothing short of beautiful. With a huge choice of locations around the island, views to die for wherever you choose to stay and a range of delicious places to eat & drink. I mean, waking up to panoramic views of the Indian ocean or the Green Mountains sounds like absolute heaven to me – what about you?

10 reasons to visit Bali

Aside from the stunning views, Bali is quite a religious island, filled with archaeological structures & ancient temples. There are countless Temples spread throughout the island of Bali, whether they be on highland peaks {with spectacular views} or low-lying shores.

Still, to this day, there are still colourful festivals and regular celebrations held in some of these temples. Mainly surrounding anniversaries and other special occasions.

Another reason to visit Bali is the people. The Balinese are globally known for their hospitality. The Balinese pride themselves on celebrating everything with ritual, colour & festivity.

If you’re a keen surfer then Bail is the place to visit! Bali is a surfing haven – especially around the Bukit Peninsula. Which is home to secluded limestone-fringed beaches and will suit the seasoned surfer as well as beginners!
