5 fun ways to propose to your Bridesmaids!

When the darling man proposed to me on Boxing day last Christmas I could not have been happier {and so totally surprised too of course!}. However, once the idea of ‘one day’ being Mrs. Butler sunk in I got to planning. A group of galloping wild horses couldn’t have kept me from planning this wedding!

So with the overwhelming choices of venues, photographers, caterers, musical bands, outfits, decor and so much more to consider, there was one thing I felt like I needed to do first, and that was to choose my Bridal party.

It didn’t feel right to just drop my chosen girls a text, or a message over Facebook. It was something I wanted to make fun & something to remember. So I took to the glorious land of Etsy {LOVE that website} and with my idea to go for the simple card approach, I managed to find the perfect cards for my Maid of Honour & each of my Bridesmaids.


Once I wrote them out, and chose my moments carefully to ask each of them, the reactions were way more than I expected, they were emotional and just amazing because I just gave them a simple card holding a simple question and their reactions followed by the big excited YES’s was the best feeling!

Then, like my simple card approach, there is such an array of different ones out there. Ranging from sweet to comical! The comical ones are AWESOME!

So those are a few ideas that I’ve found to share with you guys. As you already read, I chose to go down the simple card route and I was so pleased I did. I loved asking my girls, the memories of the moments that followed my question will honestly stay with me forever.
