The quaint town of Vic-Sur-Aisne, France.

When we had a holiday in Berny-Riviera, France with Eurocamp last month we had the absolute pleasure of going out for a bike ride one day {which swiftly turned into several!} and accidentally stumbling across a little town I actually saw online. I was thrilled that we got to see the quaint town of Vic-Sur-Aisne as it looked so pretty on the internet, but even more so in person.

The town was so lovely and….well….french! It had a true old french feel to it and I loved it. It felt very relaxed and there was a patisserie everywhere we turned.

How gorgeous is this antique looking door bell!

I thought these were a little creepy when I first saw them, but I then realised that they were little holders for when your shutters are open.

We saw these quirky little characters which were placed on the zebra crossings just outside a cute little school. This was the girl one, and there was a little boy one across the road.

Seeing things like this make me full of sadness. No matter what country has a war against whoever, innocent people like this losing their lives is sad. I love what they have done with the windows of this building. Keeping the memories of previous inhabitants alive within its walls.

As you can see I had a little obsession with doors on this trip. I love doors, especially creepy looking ones.

Vic-Sur-Aisne is such a gorgeous town and we loved hiring out the bikes in the Eurocamp parc and enjoying a little cycle. These two loved the trailer rides too…

Because we had to go on the roads to get to the town, Jacob had to sit next to Annabelle and I think he secretly enjoyed being taken rather than having to ride himself.

This looks so gorgeous. We visited a French town last week that was absolutely stunning. Ridiculously, becuase we were too busy looking for somewhere to eat, I didn’t stop to take photos of it, of which I am gutted about. There really aren’t any words that can describe how beautiful it is! The bike trailer looks fun! And aren’t their patisseries just divine! Thanks so much for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday

Lovely town. It looks like you all had such a fantastic time in France (lucky you!). These pictures are stunning and truly capture the beauty of the town. I’ve always wanted to go and explore there as well, and these pictures alone make me want to go even more. Thank you for sharing, Debs! Hoping you and your family are having a wonderful week.

Just got back from there last night! It is so wonderful and we fell in love with the whole area. Our son is a courier at Eurocamp, so we had a 10 day visit!
