☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️ This if a formal reminder to BOOK YOUR SMEAR TEST, LADIES! Yes, it is an awkward procedure, and it can be uncomfortable for more reasons than one. But it's over in a matter of minutes & it can SAVE YOUR LIFE! I went for mine this morning and I honestly had the loveliest girl. She said well done for coming in and I absolutely loved that. She even explained why she had to use a different speculum etc and I really, really appreciated that. I have been having smears for 20+yrs and that was the most positive experience I have ever had. Kudos to this girl injecting care and love into female health and as a Mother of two daughters, I back that 1000%. So, please get it booked in, take a support person if needed but you will be in good hands & female health is so, so important. My fifth & final baby is an official teenager! 🥳😭🎉 I swear, I've blinked and 13yrs have whizzed by. Which is just insane. But this kid is a hoot. She's so funny, creative and has an ability to sleep like the dead. She is OBSESSED with anything anime, doodling, manga and in fairness, she's a pretty cool kid. Why could this not have happened 8 days ago? 😅 Nothing is more magical than snow! And it's the perfect ending to what has been a really, really lovely Christmas break. From parties with friends, nights with family, early Christmas's with our nearest & dearest, slow mornings, jammy days, chocolate for breakfast (lunch & dinner!) And just enjoying being at home and appreciating the break from the norm. Raging its almost Monday (back to work) and routine gets kicked into gear again. What a festively fun few days. Far to many chinese dinners that I care to admit, lots of hugs, laughter, gift exchanges & good old family fun and not to mention my first Christmas afternoon with the GB NI troop! Thursday; Night out at Kingpins with the BIL & Louise. Friday; D&D Secret santa party which was hilariously messy! Saturday; Ghostbusters Northern Ireland Christmas lunch & drinks. Followed by an early family Christmas with family. Consisting of indoor snowball fights, dinosaurs and just dance!! Sunday; Another early Christmas with my Dad, Stepmum, little Brother, his gorgeous partner and my epic little niece. Mad few days.
