You could rent a car and enjoy spending some time enjoying the countryside in the more rural areas on the outskirts. Iceland is a stunning country to visit and it is known for having the lowest population density in all of Europe. This beautiful country is filled with natural wonders like towering waterfalls, active volcanoes, geysers, glacier-fed lakes, sulphur pools full of many colours, thermal pools, glaciers, beaches, and fjords.
