5 products I wish I had during our ‘baby days’

The weeks, months and years {more so lately} have flown by. I can remember being in this private hospital room, holding my brand new little girl and me showing her the lights over Belfast city from our hospital room window. We could hear the hustle and bustle of medical life on a hospital ward from beyond our doors and other babies crying down the hall. Those are such bittersweet moments that I hold on too and look back on often because now when I look at my daughter….I see a little girl who will soon be venturing off to start her pre-school days. How is this even possible!

However, as time goes on, friends and family have their babies and you get to hear about products they have found and picked up for their children, that you wish you knew about when yours was little. Hence this post! I figured I’d share with you some amazing products that I’ve seen that I wish I had for my daughter when she was wee.

Firstly, due to having some breastfeeding issues {which I later found out – three years later that was due to my daughter having a severe tongue tie} so we had to give her formula. Getting up in the middle of the night, having to make the bottles up with a screaming hungry baby can be a stress-fest. Which is why I wish {so badly} that I knew about this amazing Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep machine.

Tommee tippee prep machineSuch an awesome, time-saving and helpful machine. I think this would have been a real life saver for us! Do you have one of these? What do you think of it?

The next product I would have loved to have had for my daughter is the Chicco Next-to-me crib. Co-sleeping is something that we’ve never really done and I think due to her being our final child it would have been something I would have wanted to try. That closeness, the waking up to see their little faces next to yours. Priceless life moments. You can find the Chicco next-to-me crib over on Online4Baby.co.uk.

I never wrapped with any of my other four children, which is why {like a few other things} I wanted to give it a go with my final child. They look like they’re great for getting things done if the baby is being unsettled or a bit insecure and being clingy. Plus, the extra bonding time you’d get from them would be amazing too.

Now this product is GENIUS! Something that I truly wish I had {or knew about} when Annabelle was little. The Lapbaby looks ahh-mazing and something I think every household with a baby could benefit from.

Imagine the joy of eating with BOTH hands people when having dinner. Something as simple as that is the reason this product is amazing.

Lastly, I have seen these on people’s facebook and Instagram feeds so much lately that I think they’d be a real asset to both you and your new baby. The Gaga baby bean bag essentially snuggles your baby for you so you can get things done if/when you need to. They also reduce the development of flat-head syndrome too. Something to think about!

I had the beanbag and actually it wasn’t all that…
    I wish I’d had:

    The snuzpod
    The milestone cards
    A different wrap.
