The Teletubbies are back – The Big unveiling!

Last week I shared with you a little taste, well, more of a sneak peek of something that’s been so top secret that even Dipsy has been keeping it all tucked inside his big faux cow hide top hat!

Teletubbies new release - Super busy mum
I shared the above photo with you guys, giving you a little cheeky hint at what could be inside the top secret box that we were very kindly sent out. The toy manufacturers, Character Options, have been very busy and they’ve been creating this entirely new world of Teletubbies toys. Their fabulous collection features interactive soft toys, novelty items, playsets and figurines and if you’re reading this right now….they’ve you’ve just stumbled onto my whats-in-the-box unveiling!

Teletubbies the unveiling
Teletubbies new range
We were sent a gorgeous range of the new Teletubbies toys including the Po, Dipsy & Noo Noo Figurines from Collection 1, a super soft 6-inch Laa Laa Plush & an 8-inch talking Tinky Winky soft toy. The soft toy versions of the new Teletubbies range are honestly the softest teddies I’ve ever felt.

Teletubbies - Tinky Winky
The figurines are a great size, not to small and perfect for my daughters little hands. They are very sturdy which gives me the piece of mind that they’re durable and best of all? Annabelle loves them. Noo-noo is by far her favourite – because he has wheels she loves zooming him about whilst sayingNoo-noo….Noo noo!”.

Teletubbies - Lala
With other talking toys we’ve had in the past, Annabelle always had a little difficulty pressing the right place to get it to talk. Sometimes the wee button isn’t where it’s meant to be, it constantly moves & most times it’s to hard to press – you’ve had those toys too right?

But this talking soft toy is not the case. As well as being super soft to the touch it’s also super easy to activate & my toddler has no issues getting her new pal to talk. It’s lovely watching her just chilling out with her new talking Tinky Winky; chatting back to him & giving him some big hugs of her own.

Annabelle loves her new Teletubbies friends and I really enjoy seeing her having fun & learning through play. Her imagination blossoms as she roleplays with her Noo-Noo, Po & Dipsy figurines and I love seeing how much time she gives Tinky Winky because clearly they have secret Tellytubbyland business to discuss.

This is just a snapshot of the new Teletubbies toy collection which are all available to you, to buy, from mid-January. They are perfect for any Teletubbies fan out there and according to Annabelle, the soft toys make great bedtime pals too!

Do you have a Teletubbies fan at home?

Disclosure: This collection of toys was sent out to me for the purpose of this review. All thoughts, photos and opinions are 100% my own.

I always find it frustrating when the button moves too. Handy to know that this isnt the case with these.

I couldn’t stand the Teletubbies first time round and was so pleased I didn’t have to sit through it with my kids… now I have to be honest and say that this new series is alright! I expect that I’ll be picking up some of these toys in the next month or so, it’s Ollie’s first birthday in March! #MWWBH

  3. Oh god I hate the Teletubbies they drive me insane. I think its because my little sister was always watching it the first time around and now I can’t stand the noise. These toys looks great quality though! I totally get what you mean and not being able to press the button, my toddler has a train that he tries so hard to get working but just can’t #MMWBH

Not seen the new series as the Tubblet is too old, but we watched and enjoyed them when she was the right age. Good to see them back for another generation of children to enjoy (and their parents to endure!)

I think I’ve been living under a shell as I didn’t realise that they were back! My son (now 11) LOVED Teletubbies when he was young where as I could not stand them!! I’m curious as to whether it’s as bad as I remember or if they have improved it slightly?! That baby laughing manically in the sunshine used to creep me out!! Thanks for hosting! #MMWBH

I remember them so well from the first time around – and we still use our Po hot water bottle (it’s actually like a surrogate baby when its in the bed!) The toys look fab, bet they’ll become firm favourites x

Ahh the soft toys look lovely and since Mia has started getting into the new series of Teletubbies, no doubt I will have to get some for her! They look lovely and how exciting to be able to get a look at them before release! 🙂

Yes, I definitely have a few of those toys where the button blooming moves around and eventually disappears into the stuffing…it’s in there somewhere but who knows where! Luke loves the new Teletubbies, I know he’d go crazy for Noo Noo! 😉 Ray xx #mmwbh

I remember watching them on BBC 2 (I believe) in the mo ring before school with my siblings! I always thought Noo Noo was hilarious!
These are super cute toys 🙂 x

Now that does look like an impressive array of toys. I confess I never really got the Telletubbies until I realised it was a good way to calm the kids down, unlike many other kids’ TV shows! Thanks for hosting #MMWBH

They really do calm them down though don’t they! It’s a weird phenomenon! Time for us to breathe and get a cup of tea at least – always a winner. Thanks for linking up! #MMWBH
