Animal Farm Adventure Park in Somerset Review
During our recent family holiday to Somerset, we got to visit the amazing Animal Farm Adventure Park in Berrow. It was a super hot day, but we were stocked up with sun cream, bottles of water. And the kids couldn’t wait to explore.
Being non-drivers, we took the bus which took us around 40mins to get too, however, if you’re in a car? It will take you about 15mins. The bus we got was available from our Haven holiday village in Burnham on Sea, but it goes along the promenade in Burnham and along the usual bus route {I think} towards Weston Super Mare. The price was very reasonable too, it cost Β£13 {return} for a group of 5.Β
The great thing I loved, in particular about this Farm Adventure Park was that once you pay to get in, that’s it. All of the rides etc within the park {except the arcade machines & the water shooting game outside the cuddle time house} is free. I have seen other places, just like this, that will charge you your admission to get in and then continue to charge you to go on the rides etc once you’re through the door.Β Β
As you can see, there are 23 amazing acres to explore here. You can buy feed {Β£1.50 per bag} inside the play barn, to feed to the farm animals. The giant play barn is an epic feature in the adventure park – it’s really big, has plenty of seating for the parents to have a rest. There is a kiosk to get food & drinks. It’s perfect, really.Β
So much to explore at the Animal Adventure Park
As well as the play barn, there is mini crazy golf to play, animal displays to attend, cuddle time with some gorgeous guinea pigs & bunnies. There are a few amusements to enjoy, such as the caterpillar coaster, the bunny wheel, Shark IslandΒ and so much more.Β
There is a selection of inflatables for the kids to enjoy, too. With a super cute circus-style bounce house, as well as an inflatable slide and there is even one for the littlest ones attending the park, too. As well as a sandpit for the little ones & trampolines, too!Β
For the more adventurous kids, there is an adventure castle to play in. It has turrets and tunnels to explore, everything a castle needs and the kids loved hanging out in here and I have to admit, so did we!
Past the amusements, there is the farm. A vast area of fields where you’ll find sheep, goats, llamas and alpacas – all hoping that you have a bag of that feed for them to gobble up. The bag of feed you get is quite generous, so everyone will get a share. If you go past the farm you’ll come across another little play area – which is super cute. Although, due to my sons & Husbands hayfever, we couldn’t spend much time there. Sadly.Β
All of the farm animals are really sweet, they’re not shy of the public at all and the kids loved feeding them during our visit. My daughter, Ellie loves an alpaca, so she was in her element.Β
A really fun hands-on experience
There is a range of different animals to see at the Animal Farm Adventure Park. From cuddle time with the guineas and bunnies. To watching the adorable chipmunks being fed and visiting the reptile house. The kids even got to hold some of the parks amazing creatures. It’s all very hands-on and the kids really enjoyed seeing so many animals up close.
They even had freshly hatched Turkeys, which, if you’re a Final Fantasy fan – look just like baby chocobos! They are definitely much cuter as babies than as adults!Β
We were even very lucky to meet there very own racoon! He was so, incredibly cute! You don’t see one of those in the UK – so it was exciting to get a glimpse of him.Β
Overall thoughts
We had a fantastic day at Animal Farm Adventure Park. It is certainly a place we will visit again when we’re back in Somerset, purely, because we know how great it is. I think it’s excellent value for money. The staff are really friendly and we all had an amazing day. You can’t ask for more than that, really.Β
Animal Farm Adventure Park, thank you so much for having us!Β

It’s a massive place and it looks like a lot of fun for a day out.
It is a great day out & it is huge – so plenty of space for the kids to tire themselves out! π x
It looks a greta farm park, I bet you had loads of fun. I wouldn’t go near those snakes and lizards though! I can’t believe how quiet it all looks too, so ncie to get away from the crowds. Mich x
It’s usually super busy, but on the day we went, it must have been a day where everyone was at work or something! But it was lovely to have the park so quiet, so queuing for a start! x
What a fun place to spend the day, and what a great selection of animals – very impressed they held the reptiles! x
Oh, my lot LOVE getting up close to any animal! It’s a great place to hang out for the day! x
23 acres?! That is such a huge place, I can see the appeal with all the activities from the indoor play area to mini golf (which is always a favourite to mine) to explore the more exotic animals like that super cute racoon.
It is SUCH a huge place! Great for exploring, too! And the indoor soft play area is a life saver – especially for parents with tired feet & over energetic kids! π
Animal Farm Adventure Park looks fantastic, and ideal for a great family day out. So good that you don’t have to pay for each ride once you are in, that kind of charging can really add up. Looks like there was plenty to keep everyone entertained.
It is SO good that everything is covered once you pay your admission fee.
Love the look of this farm, plenty to keep the whole family occupied
So much there to keep everyone happy! It’s such a chilled out feel to the day, too x
Looks like your family had such a lovely time! Look at the smile on that cutie’s face! π
Aww we did, and thanks so much x
This looks like a great day out, I love it when animal parks have other activities to do, instead of just seeing the animals, particularly when hayfever is an issue! It will definitely be on my list if we visit Somerset
If you do ever visit, do let me know what you think! I’d love to know! x
