10 Shortlisted takeaways in Northern Ireland for the British Takeaway Awards 2016

You may or may not have caught my post a few weeks ago, sharing my chosen takeaway to vote for in the 2016 British Takeaway Awards, sponsored by JustEat.co.uk. The restaurant I voted for did not make it into the 10 shortlisted takeaways in Northern Ireland for this years BTA’s. But not to worry, because the ten takeaways in N.I that have been shortlisted deserve to be where they are. Here’s a rundown of each shortlisted takeaway and where you can find them.

Feeley’s Fish & Chip shop can be found on the Shaws Road in Belfast and it is well known for its impressive portions of fish and delicious chips. They’re also a pizzeria too! Everything under one roof!

The Captains Table is based in Glengormley, just on the Carnmoney road and this takeaway is actually a firm favorite of ours. They have an amazing range of food available and it tastes great! I think it can be quite hard to find a consistent fish and chip shop, but The Captain’s table {in my opinion} has it in spades.

Romeos Takeaway is located on the Strand Road in Derry and is a famously run family business in those parts and especially for its succulent butcher burgers or it’s chicken parmagana.

Hot & Spicy has been an establish Indian takeaway in Craigavon since 2001 while providing a wide range of contemporary food, freshly produced with traditional cooking methods.

Nicos Pizza Pasta is based in South Belfast and is an authentic Italian takeaway that offers traditional pizza and pasta dishes. All food is cooked freshly on the premises whilst using fresh local produce. They also pride themselves on taking allergies very seriously and provide lots of information regarding that on their website.

The Chip Basket can be found in Omagh and they are much-loved for their amazing customer service and delicious food. Their juicy 6oz burgers in a brioche bun are a firm favorite with customers. Yum!

Frangos – For Chicken Lovers is a much-loved takeaway offering deliciously cooked succulent grilled chicken cooked to perfection on a traditional fire grill.

Monte Carlo Chip shop on the Lisburn is well-known for their amazing customer service and attention to keeping their customers happy. Teamed up with great food, of course.

Nonnas Wood Fired Pizza is a casual family run pizzeria using only the freshest and best ingredients. Serving delicious artisan and classic pizzas with a wide range of delicious and unique toppings, to also having an epic range of scrumptious looking desserts. I for one need to try their Nutella Twist!

And lastly…The Moyola which is based on the Limestone Road, Belfast is well-known for its delicious range of fish, chips, and even their all-day breakfast choices.
