As I sit here I’m completely overwhelmed by the amount of work I have on my to-do list. So, to break the mould, the pressure and the general ARGH-ness of that situation, I figured I’d write up a little post about our September.

What have we got up to this month? If anyone else has the abismal memory like I have, you’ll be scrolling through your September instagrams to refresh yourself! *scrolls through her feed for a quick refresher* 😉

Wow…September has been a busy one. If I’m honest, though, I think September is one of my most favourite months out of the entire year. Towards the end of September, the darker evenings creep in and the anticipation of festive events lay on the horizon. The onsies and wooly jumpers get brought out from the Narnia’s that lay at the back of our wardrobes and we say hello to snuggly evenings and fluffy socks.

September has turned my eldest son into a young man as he rolled into his sixteenth year. Which to even say I have a sixteen-year-old still sounds insane when spoken out loud.
11930681_852715161480643_367096416_nSeptember has also seen my daughter have her Tonsillectomy, which was something she so needed doing and we’re so pleased that it is now all over and done with. She handled it all like an absolute champ and I could not be more proud of her.
Tonsil-surgery-Little-loves#3We’ve waved goodbye to Annabelles gorgeous Foxtrot Supa buggy from Cosatto this month. That was difficult to let go of! But due to it just sitting, unused in our hallway for months I think not only was that a sign, but it was time to let it go. In all of it’s foxy glory it has went to a brand new home where we hope they love it as much as we did.
Cosatto-Foxtrot-SupaSeptember has seen a lot of toddler tantrums. Her communication skills are getting better every day, but she still has some frustrations and due to that, has entered into the dreaded hitting phase. Dun dun duuun. So, dishing out warnings and being told-off aside, her actions have resulted in quite a bit of time-out time.
12002130_903142046427347_2657269192178018918_nThis month {and along with evolution having some sort of cruel joke} has seen, in abundance, some huge spiders invading our home. Now, I mean…HUGE…
12017478_861122657306560_4378990747724650294_oOur home City of Belfast enjoyed another year of Culture day/night events this September and we were really excited to be invited along and it was an extra bonus that the sun decided to come out too. Don’t you just love some September sunshine!
I even went along to my local hairdressers and had a not-as-drastic-hair-change-as-expected-to-do appointment. I’ve had my hair long for-literally-ever! So even though I had constant nudges to have a big change, I totally chickened out and just had a good trim {bye bye 5ins!} & a serious thinning out.

Sounds like you’ve had a busy September! The trip to Palma sounds exciting. I don’t blame you about the haircut, I’ve got long hair too and always chicken out on anything more than a trim.

Wow what a fun September and glad your daughter’s tonsil removal went well. Oliver had his adenoids removed and grommets in at 17 months and it was the hardest thing I’ve had to get through but so glad we did it. How old is your daughter? Well done her, and you all. Thanks for linking up to #brilliantblogposts x
