My Sunday Photo

These Sundays are coming around thick and fast aren’t they! This week My Sunday Photo is all about trains and wonder.

This week has been a pretty busy one, but it’s also been a really lovely one too. The kids have been good {mostly}, Annabelles sleeping pattern at nighttime has improved {which, anything other than what she was like last week ago is an improvement!} and we’ve also got outside, {thanks to the dry afternoons}, loads!

Annabelle is a huge fan of trains, which I think is just the cutest thing ever because it blows the cobwebs off all of this, gender-related toy nonsense. So going on a ‘choo choo’ was heaps of fun for her. Watching her look out the window, pointing out the trees, the cars, houses and clouds. Listening to her exclaim “WOW!” when she saw something particularly cool. Like, a tree with flowers on it rather than just leaves. Don’t you just love the innocence and beauty of a child’s mind?

But I loved her fascination when we passed the River Lagan in Belfast and we managed to see some rowers out doing their thing. Annabelle thought this was super cool. Her little hands pressed up against the glass, her eyes fixed on her target….sigh….watching her see these relatively normal things to us, but amazing and new things to her make me all warm & fuzzy inside.

A wonderful view from the train window and a great capture of your daughter watching the rowers pass by

She just loves the outdoors and if she can see it all during a train ride, then all the better in her eyes.

She looks so gripped and interested in what’s going on

Never been on a train!! How can that be! *gasp* they would love it. It’s the only way to travel (if you don’t have a car!)
