Me & Mine project {August 2015}

This month has flown in. Wouldn’t you agree? Even through the wet and windy days of August, it feels like we’ve blinked and it will be Hello September tomorrow! I sit here and I truly cannot believe that tomorrow my kids return to school. My eldest son ventures into his final year of high school {unless he decides to go into 6th form} and his little Sister is going into her final year of Primary. How the hell is that even happening!!

Then my 14yr & 7yr olds are going into their 3rd years of education in both Secondary & Primary! It’s all just so emotional and I am finding it all hard to deal with. They’re all growing up so fast and regardless of my pleading for them to slow down, they don’t seem to be listening.This is also my final year with Annabelle before she too ventures into the world of nursery, sand trays and making friends.

This month has seen new words from Annabelle, my youngest son turning 7 {Oh M Gee!}, birthday celebrations coming out the wazoo, way to much cake for anyone to consume in one month and a little Wedding planning.

So in with all of the hustle and bustle of back to school dates and birthday celebrations we did manage to snap a photo of ourselves {missing out my eldest two as per usual!} for August! Taken by one of our little sleepover minions! Didn’t she do a good job!

This month the darling man is loving:

Playing League of Legends again.
New anime episodes.
Coming home to the kids.

This month Jacob is loving:
His new games that he got for his birthday.
Having Xbox Live and being able to play & chat to his friends.
Pizza {his true love!}.

This month Ellie is loving:
Having Xbox live on her Xbox in her bedroom {which she earned}.
Tuna mayo pasta

Her new above the bed memory wall.

This month Annabelle is loving:
Dora the Explorer
Sausages {her ultimate most favourite food EVER!}
Doing jigsaws with Mummy

This month the teenagers are loving:
League of Legends & Arma 2
Not having to go back to school for another week! {lucky devils}
Hanging out with family & friends.

This month Mummy {me} is loving:
Almost having my Warcraft Beast Mastery Hunter to level 100. Sitting at 98.
Building on Minecraft again. It’s been a while!
Trying out new champions on League of Legends.

    The kids grow up so fast! my oldest is going to be an 8th grader in two days and my youngest is going to be a third grader (this is the year they start the dreaded State Standardized testing – third grade). I’m a gamer too and love my xbox. I am looking forward to fall, as long as it doesn’t rain like it did most of the summer. LOL! Thanks for sharing!

    Its an lovely picture, those sleepover minions are useful! My bdf paladin is almost 100 too (alliance) and we have all been playing minecraft this week, my 5 and 4 year olds love it. Mr T has added some castle/boss mods to the game and they are loving exploring and defeating the bosses. (In creative mode, like you do!)

    Aw that’s a lovely photo! We had the first day of playgroup with our little guy in August and I was totally emotional so can only imagine how it is with 4 heading out the door! Good luck with the wedding planning too, we are hoping to get the ball rolling with our wedding plans too this year 🙂
