Living Arrows 8/52

This linky, Living Arrows, has been my little weekly saving grace. Last year I missed out on so many opportunities to share our weekly snapshots, meaning I have hundreds of unshared memories stored safely away in the depths of my ridiculously large, flash drive collection. So naturally I am loving that 8 weeks into 2016 and I am still going strong with sharing our memories and linking up!

This last week was half term for us and it started off like this…

What a mess, right? My three year thrives on causing utter devastation, in fact, I actually think {for her} causing such chaos is the main goal of her ‘play’. So, knowing her love of causing such mess I have been trying really hard {like, really, REALLY hard} to encourage her to tidy up after herself. Mostly I fail and she just potters about doing her thing, but the other day she finally ‘helped’ me tidy up something and I was lucky enough to be able to capture the moment. You know, for prove that it actually happened!

Hopefully, her helping to tidy her ‘her’ mess will be a regular thing from here on in. Or at least, I can hope, right?

We’ve enjoyed indulging in breakfast baps on the swings in the park, reading together, playing together and getting our craft on with the arts and crafts box. but most of all, the one moment of the week that captured my heart was the look Annabelle gave her big Sister as she was being sung a nursery rhyme. That is the look of true love, without a shadow of a doubt.

We’ve had a delightful half term week, so much I am looking forward to their Easter break – roll on Easter hunts and chocolate eggs! 😉

Beautiful photos! That room still looks tidier than what Lilly manages to do to our living room in the 5 mins I’m in the bathroom >.< Kids love creating messes, don't they? Its the best memories we have of our childhood!

Great pictures! My 18 month old delights in causing mess too – she’ll follow you around as you tidy deliberately making a mess again. The older one is not so bad. #MMWBH

Lovely slection of pics. Love Belle’s mess! reminds me of my three year old. Oddly, she often comes home from nursery with a stamp on her hand for good tidying but will she do it at home? No. Thanks for hosting #MMWBH

Oh my gosh, my three year old has the same messy tendencies! It like a tornado has gone through every space she has been in. If you find anything that helps with that…please share! #MMWBH
