Living Arrows 11/52

This weeks Living Arrows post is all about 3 things: Playing outside, painting & World Book Day.

First of all, it has been gloriously dry the last few days and we’ve even been blessed with some sunshine. Goodness knows how long the sunshine will last, but I reckon we’re going to enjoy it until it leaves us nonetheless. There’s something so amazing about being able to wedge the front door open and letting the kids enjoy the fresh air as they play in the garden.

It has taken longer than I thought it would, but I can finally say that Annabelle loves her arts, crafts and painting activities. Just being able to set out everything she needs and watching her be creative is such a joy and she loves it so much, that it is a daily activity here. Plus hearing her ask for the glue is so cute, I swear my heart skips a beat everytime, or a die a little inside due to cuteness!

Lastly, a week later than the rest of the UK {believe me, I’m as baffled as you are} but my Primary aged kids had their World Book Day in school. Ellie decided to go as the Fantastic Mr Fox and Jacob chose to go as Bilbo Baggins. They both looked the part and had such a fun World Book day in school.

As always, lovely photographs! You really are very talented with the camera 🙂 My 2 year old loves her arts and crafts as well, in fact she loves it more than I would like in that she wants to paint ALL THE TIME! Suffice it to say I’m perpetually cleaning paint of the table, chair and floor. Thank God for washable paint!
