Kids being kids! – Ordinary Moments!

This week has been lovely. Honestly lovely. Ever since we stopped potty training and I finally saw the light of my crazy-ass’d-ways {I seriously still don’t know what got into me, but enough about that!}, so yes, ever since going back to nappies things have been honest-to-God lovely. Sure, we’ve still had the occasional tantrum…
11329696_812959525456207_574915075_n…but the more I work with Annabelle and encouraging her to ‘Listen to Mummy’ and for me to help her understand what’s going on {whether that be Daddy going to work, the kids going to school or why we had to pass the park to go to the shops!}, the tantrums are easing up a little *touch wood*.

Annabelle has loved wearing other peoples shoes this week. Far too funny for words! Especially when I caught her shuffling off in her Daddy’s work shoes, with a Hedbandz headband in her hand {as you do}, with the remnants of her spaghetti bolognese dinner smeared over her face.
DSC_9585….Lets not forget she’s sporting her gorgeous spotty fluff! She looks like some weird, fluffy wearing, messy faced warrior ready for battle! Haha!
DSC_9647When the three of these monkeys all get together, mischief is afoot. Every time. But its the glorious kind. They laugh, the smile and they just bloody adore each other and I just love sitting back to watch {occasionally running off to get my camera to capture a few moments like the one above}.

Miss Belle has also taken a weird fascination with our windowsill. My poor nerves! But she loves to wave Daddy off in the mornings and I think her love for getting up on it has grown from there. I don’t think me having her little picnic table near it to help her up was a good idea {this has since been moved} but the other day I couldn’t help taking a few snaps!
DSC_9664 DSC_9665She’s a wee monkey that’s for sure but kids will be kids after all, right?

I’m glad things are better now! As you said kids will be kids!
Oh she sounds so funny! The window photos are lovely, especially in black and white.
The photo of all 3 of them is priceless! The smiles on their faces! Lovely.
The tantrum photo totally reminds me of my youngest. Ahh I hate those days ha ha!

Thanks for linking up to #justanotherlinky !

What wonderful photos. Kids are kids and it is great. I love watching it and listening to their conversations without adults present. Love the shoe phase. Mine went through that too. #justanotherlinky

Oh my gosh, she reminds me of Ethan SO much! It’s crazy how much! Ethan is the same with tantrums lately and the shoe thing, YES! He does this so much lately too and even the window thing!! xx

Lovely photos Debs, I especially love the one of them all chatting and laughing together – so cute. LL is definitely going through a cheeky tantrum phase as well. She is so funny and will literally just throw whatever she is holding and fall to the floor. It’s so embarrassing when we are out! 😉 x

So glad things are easier for you now.
They do look a cheeky bunch altogether!! I imagine your house to be full of love and laughter though, so special!!

What lovely photos! Good luck with the potty training! It took us a couple of goes, but then it all came together. Sometimes you have to ignore the books / your friends and just go with your gut. And if the gut says no, it says no! #myfavouritepost

She is just too cute! Potty training may take a few go rounds for her to accept not being in diapers! I took it slow with my children and when they were ready one day the diaper was there and the next it was gone! Stopping over from #MyFavouritePost

Oh my GOODness, so adorable. I love the black and white images – something about them is so timeless (all black and whites, I think). What a lovely post and good luck to you. My darlin’ is 12 and I want to say the potty training was easy was I gave over and let go. She’s not still wearing a diaper, so it worked out. 😉

PS: I like to be in control but sometimes, it’s nearly impossible…just go with what works for YOU and yours. 🙂

Aw what lovely photos, I especially love the one with her daddy’s shoes on and spaghetti all over her cheeks, so sweet, and just so real! She is a cutie! And yes the climbing so very relatable with my 18 month old little boy climbing all over the place, making me a nervous wreck! x

OMG that photo is adorable! Definitely one to bring out on her wedding day! Mine is only 6 months at the moment but I’m so looking forward to the mischievous years and hopefully some more siblings to double the fun! Looks like you have a lovely little family x

Oh my gosh the windowsill! How are you even keeping yourself together with that. My girl is also fascinated with putting on everyone’s shoes – great source of amusement! #MMWBH

It’s amazing how much work kids can be, I guess it is payback from when we were kids ourselves 🙂

Kids will of course be kids. My two have a special window at the sotp of the stairs where they wave mummt off to work most mornings. It’s very sweet. #MMWBH
