I love a good bargain!

Reading the title to this post, you’re in complete agreement with me, right? Everybody loves a good bargain and I am definitely one of those people.

When I am scrolling through my Instagram or Facebook feed I gush over the shots of some people’s homes. Not only am I completely jealous of the amount of natural light their home allows in, but the little bits and pieces they have sprinkled throughout their homes.

Now, I’m a Mum to five, which means my funds for ‘pretty things’ are pretty nonexistent. This makes me sad of course but never fear because…..I love a good bargain! There are so many stores around nowadays that stock great quality home interior products that are completely affordable and look amazing in the home. There are even some great websites available for bargains too, such as, Bargain buys for Busy Mums and they have so many bargains for different things ranging from kids fashion to health & beauty products.

For example, I recently picked up this super stylish LED ‘&‘ marquee light which was originally priced at £9.99 {at B&M} but was in a sale for £4.99 and I’m not even sorry that it fell into my basket. Isn’t is gorgeous!! I think it gives our front room a real funky vibe and knowing that it was a bargain buy makes me feel a little giddy.

Now, aside from household bargains if you follow my blog or any of my social media channels, you’ll know I’m soon to become a Mrs. So saving the pennies as we organise our wedding has been paramount. I have spent hours scrolling places like Amazon & eBay for ways to cut the cost on what are usually, very expensive occasions but still giving off a high-end feel.

planning a wedding

I’ve been very lucky and found some amazing bargains on everything from my gifts for the Bride and Groom parties, favours, wedding decorations and even my wedding dress. Whatever way you view a wedding {yes, even your own!} it’s for one day! One single day. So is it really worth spending 10k+ on it? Realistically, it shouldn’t be, but each to there own at the end of the day. I for one, love shopping for bargains and I doubt that will ever change.

Do you love a good bargain? What has been your most recent bargain buy?

I do love a bargain but I changed my attitude towards things I don’t need. So I look at it and think my oh that’s the pretty but my second thought then is… Do I need it? Do we have space for it? I never buy stuff for me. It’s always the kids. When we are moving house in 2 months I will definitely pick up a good few things for me though. I love decorating.
