Happy New Year & hello 2016!

The morning of an entirely new year is at our feet with new days to explore, evenings to relax together, adventures to go on and new birthdays to celebrate. Not only that, but I have so many exciting plans for my blog in 2016 that I am just all overcome with excitement!

Last year {it’s weird saying that, mainly because last year was…err…yesterday!}, 2015 for my blog was the first year that I actually earned anything through my little pocket of the internet and it got me excited at the prospect of the possibility of turning it into a full-time job by the end of 2016. Eeek!

This year is going to be an amazing one, I can feel it in my waters! Can you feel it? I have so much planned that I really hope that I can keep up with it all, organise myself as well as I plan too, and achieve all of the goals I hope to tick off by the end of the year.

I’m also aiming to gain a diploma this year through NCC Home Learning – and the course I have chosen to do is; Forensic Ballistics. What a cool subject, right?
This line of science has been an interest of mine since I was in my early twenties and enrolling to study Forensic Science whilst living in Lancashire, but due to places already being filled I ended up going down the Animal Science route instead. So I like the fact that my true passion has come full circle to lure me in once again and I honestly cannot wait to sink my teeth into firearms, trajectories and crime scene layouts!

I hope whatever you got up to last night was fun, whether you stayed in {like us} or were lucky enough to get outside into the real world {child-free} I hope it was amazing and heads aren’t too sore this morning! 😉

Once again you lovely lot – HAPPY NEW YEAR and let’s make 2016 amazing!

P.S. I’m curious, did you stay in or go out on New Years Eve? Tell me everything!  x

We stayed in. Jaxon was really struggling with getting settled. He’d just about get to sleep only to then be woken up by fireworks going off. Eventually he settled around 1am thankfully. I spent a chunk of the evening sat on my bed cuddling Jaxon. It was about the only way he’d sleep.
