Halloween: Spider web Pizza!

Halloweens coming on…and the goose is getting fat!

GAAAH! We love Halloween and we’re going to “try” to fit in lots of fun holiday themed recipes and crafts to share with you lovely lot. Starting with….

Spider Web Pizza!

Now, my web didn’t come out as well as I’d hoped, but you can get the idea! Really fun idea to have for a spooky dinner treat or even on your party table on the night!

Here’s how I did it.

I bought some pitta bread and cut each slice into circles. I then added the tomato sauce and finally, for the web, I used stringy cheese {as it’s pretty awesome for working with!}. So just add 2 or 3 circles of stringy cheese and then the strings to make the web look more….web-like! Voila! I was going to add pepperoni spiders but the children weren’t letting me get that focused! But its a cute idea, right?

Pop in the oven for 10-15mins at 160 degrees and voila! Your pizza is ready! Yum! My kids loved the novelty factor of this and have asked could we make more tomorrow! Success.

So go on, make your own Spider Web Pizza! I’d love to see your results!!

A fun idea for the kid’s dinner! And great that you used every day ingredients – pita bread for the base is brilliant – saves worrying about making (or buying!) a proper pizza base.

Would love for you to come and share it over at my Halloween linky?!

Hi Michelle, we would ALWAYS use pitta bread, so much easier I think and I’ve pop over to your Halloween linky and linked up! xx
