#FuelyourDreams campaign with Sun-Pat Peanut Butter

I have the pleasure of working with Sun-Pat on their Fuel Your Dreams Campaign this week. Did you dream of being anything in particular when you were younger? I know I did. I wanted to walk on the moon and I know that may be a pretty adventurous dream but you know, I was young and my nature isn’t to do anything by half. However, my other dreams included being able to follow in my Fathers military footsteps. I applied to be a Weaponry engineer at 16 through the Army School Leavers programme, but thanks to the height restriction still being in place when I applied, I was 2 & a half cms too small. My heart was crushed.

However, I turned it around because I earned my SGT strips in my local Air Training Corps {1919 Squadron} and the opportunities I got through being in the ATC were hands down some of the best days of my life. I got to fly in all kinds of military aircraft’s, I got to fire some pretty amazing firearms and even earned my marksmanship; using a SA80 with a SUSAT while firing at moving targets {you had to get 5 shots to fit inside a 2p coin}. As you can imagine, being an air cadet required me to keep my energy levels up and we had to be pretty healthy too.

Nowadays, I still try to maintain that healthy lifestyle {even after five children!} and admittedly it’s not easy! However, as a Super Busy Mummy, my energy levels need to be on form too or else getting through our insanely busy days would be a painful struggle. The same applies to my children and I find that a good morning boot is indulging in a slice of toast with a healthy spread of Sun-Pat peanut butter. It’s a great source of natural protein, high in fibre and helps you to naturally maintain energy. Just what a busy family needs to kick-start their day.

Sun-Pat also has an amazing competition to give you the chance to make one of your dreams come true! You have until November 16th to enter and it’s super easy!

“Sun-Pat is offering two people the chance to experience their dream for a day alongside Olympic hero Adam Peaty or TV presenter Helen Skelton, with eight runner-up prizes of a year’s supply of Sun-Pat Peanut Butter and a £1,000 donation to a local group of their choice to ensure our future stars are equipped to achieve their own dreams.

To enter, simply tell us what you’ve always dreamed of doing. It could be anything from becoming a pilot to winning your own gold medal. You can even share a photo to support your entry. {Facebook, Twitter, Instagram}

Entries can be made below using the entry form or on the Sun-Pat social media pages by clicking on the icons below. Entries made via Facebook must be posted on the Sun-Pat Facebook page in the form of a comment on our pinned competition post, entries via Twitter or Instagram must include #SunPatDreams.”

The best of luck guys and remember, leave me a wee comment below of what your dreams are or what dreams you’d love to come true for a day!
