Freckle bombs & Beaches! #LittleLoves

The sun has finally shone here in N.I folks. Shocker, I know! But the sun had his hat on for a few days this week and it was glorious. We’ve been quite envious over this way seeing all of our blogger friends on the mainland enjoy the sunshine, and here we were across the pond with grey skies and showers. So I’ll not lie, it’s quite nice to have a little of what you guys have been having!

So how have we enjoyed it? Oh well, we’ve had trips to the park, walks on the beach, garden fun & more. My freckle bomb face got a top-up {much needed!} and the kids have rosy sunny glows kissing their skin. It’s also amazing what a little sunshine can do for a persons mood!

So without further ado, here’s this weeks #LittleLoves

Read
I’m still reading the book I shared with you guys last week, Kids don’t come with a manual. This line in particular really stood out for me, mainly because little Belle isn’t talking yet. So far? I’m loving this book! I couldn’t recommend it enough to any parent out there.

I’ve been re-watching Orange is the New Black again, if you’re a fan I know you’ll have been doing it too. Just in time too, as the new season starts toniiiiight! *super excited face*.
20150611_210724[1]I also watched a certain young lady of mine enjoy some time on the beach.

Freckles. Hundreds of the little melanin buggars, haha. As soon as they see some sun they just *POP* and make my face look like a sieve or a dot to dot marathon! Look at those under-eye wrinkles, yeesh! Anyone recommend any eye cream? 😉
IMG_20150610_135205[1]I also wore a toddler. Not by choice! Just, any time anyone lies on the ground, in my case it was me trying to get a decent shot for my Macro course assignment. My hands are steady, just not steady when being bronco’d by a hyper two year old. It’s a good job she’s cute, right?

Made
I’ve had this project mid-done for MONTHS. Shamefully, months. I always get this urge to start something but never finish it. I think it’s a flaw of some sort because even when I draw I never finish my work…
429388_242680165817482_912202300_nI drew this almost ten years ago. TEN YEARS! Forever to be unfinished.

But one morning I decided to once and for all complete the kids chalkboard/wall art gallery! I’m so pleased I did too because it looks good! I’ll share the full post about it on the blog soon!
