Finding inspiration for your Husbands Christmas present

With Christmas not far away, now is a good time to do some present shopping. You should find the suggestions below helpful if you are still wondering what to buy your husband.

Clothing related presents

Most men take a lot of care over their appearance. But, when money is tight, they tend to cut back on buying clothing. Instead, they make do with what they already own so the family can still have a few treats. So, if your man’s wardrobe is looking a bit dated why not buy them some items of clothing. Perhaps a pair of heavy boots for winter or maybe a new coat, they make ideal Christmas presents.

If you are not sure what they really want, you could always buy them something small. For example, socks, boxers or a shirt then pop a voucher in for their favourite menswear retailer. That way they have a physical gift and a voucher which they can only really use to buy themselves something special.

Experience related presents

It is all too easy to get stuck in a rut. Without realising it a lot of us end up just going to work, coming home eating, watching TV, playing games and sleeping.

This is OK, but, every once in a while it does us good to get off the couch and do something different. That is why so many of us love experience-related gifts. They are a great way of getting you to try something new.

There are some fantastic experience days that your husband is sure to love. If he is a golfer a golf workshop would make an excellent gift. For an F1 fan, a track day would be ideal. You can find everything from theatre workshops to abseiling and mountain biking workshops, available online. It is not hard to find an experience related gift that your husband will really enjoy.

Sports-related gifts

For men who love the sport, there are many different present ideas. It could be anything from tickets for an important match or event to a mug that features his favourite team. You could also buy your husband some sports equipment or maybe a golf lesson.

Hobby-related presents

If your husband has a hobby, a gift that is related to that could be ideal. Just be careful not to buy him something he already owns.

Entertainment-related gifts

Games, theatre tickets, a Netflix subscription or something similar can also make an excellent gift. Providing your husband with a way to relax is a great way of showing him how much he means to you.

Tech-related gifts

Everybody loves their tech. The list of possibilities is endless. It could be something expensive like a new phone or maybe a relatively small tech-related gift like a new set of headphones. You can find more technology-related gift ideas in this article.

I really struggle getting Ash anything different, I often end up buying him games, just as it’s an easy go to. I might have to try and work out how to work in some of these ideas though just to suprise him a little!

These are good ideas. It would be good to give him a hobby related gift as he will surely be using your gift whenever he’s on it. It’s just wonderful to know that he’ll be using your gift on something that he loves doing.

I always struggle in getting the hubby things, so we have decided to go down the experience route.
We’ve already booked a trip to the Royal Albert Hall and I’ve booked some comedy shows that he doesn’t know about. Always a great Idea!

I always find it hard to find presents for Mark, but I think I like the idea of buying experiences rather than things for him now.
