Choosing a Christmas tree with Mill Race Garden Centre

I love Christmas. Who doesn’t? And the time of year is swiftly approaching where trees will be going up all around the world and at the moment we are currently without one. You see, last year we decided to go for our first ever real Christmas tree, and as amazing as that was…we would prefer to have a tree we didn’t have to buy every single year, or have to maintain!

So when Mill Race Garden Centre got in touch, they really could not have got their timing any better. Don’t you love it when that happens? It’s like fate. They kindly gifted me a voucher to do a little shopping on their lovely website and as soon as I saw their Christmas tree range, I knew it was meant to be. I cannot deny that I was tempted by their beautiful Christmas ornament collections, however getting a Christmas tree was at the top of my priority list.

I chose the stunning Artificial Highland Mixed Pine Christmas Tree which is a beautiful 6ft tall. I think if you’re ever going to have a tree, then you need to go big or go home! The tree came really well packaged and even though it was still November {close to the end of it} when it arrived, we thought, “What the heck!” and put it up anyway!
Christmas tree rangeWhat do we love about this tree?

– We love that it looks so thick & full.
– We also love how low it is to the ground. I was never a fan of those trees with a big bottom gap between the base of the tree and the stand.
– I really like how the tips of the branches are all different. They actually feel like the real tips of a ‘real’ Christmas tree.
– The kids really love how there are little pine cones on some of the branches.
– I also love the metal base it comes with too.

This Artifical Highland Mixed Christmas tree RRP for £69.99 but I was very lucky and got it in the Mill Race Garden Centre Christmas sale for £40.00. A bit of a bargain wouldn’t you say!
