Crate Creatures Surprise Review

I am always on the lookout for new & fun toys to capture my daughter’s imagination. We were kindly sent a Crate Creature surprise recently and Annabelle was so excited to open it up to see who she got. Obviously, it says on the side of the box {and his name on the front} but she didn’t like that ruin the surprise aspect for her. You have to love a 5yr old, right! Because it really is all about the excitement of opening things up.  The crates are pretty fun to open – they come with a chain around the…

Going Back to School with Smiggle

In a few weeks time, my children will be going back to school. I am a little sad about that as the summer seems to have been syphoned from under my feet. But also pleased because I am a person who loves a bit of routine & structure. However, with the new school term upon us, we are in full swing to get the kids ready for going back to school. We have collaborated with Smiggle to share a few amazing products from their massive range of Back to school goodies. Ranging from backpacks, pencil cases, stationery and so on. …

Car seat safety with the mifold ‘Grab & Go’

We are non-drivers, so whenever we take taxi rides it always makes me a little nervous – mainly because having to lug around a car seat while doing my shopping with the children isn’t exactly ideal! However, being driven in any family members cars, Annabelle always has a car seat of her own which is incredibly helpful. However, sometimes, like when we take taxi rides, having them available just isn’t possible.  So, when Mifold got in touch, asking us to review their Grab & Go car restraint, it was an easy yes from me.  The first thing that impressed me about…

Showing off our Summer photos, with Cheerz | Review

If you are anything like me, then you’ll take an unfathomable amount of photos. It’s almost a habit {of mine, anyway!}. Growing up, we didn’t have digital cameras or camera phones, nor did my parents. So those memories, those hundreds of amazing memories have gone uncaptured. Only seen if you close your eyes really tightly, to remember them. I don’t have many photos of my summer holidays as a child and I couldn’t bare my children growing up not having those memories to look back on either. So, when Cheerz got in touch and asked me to collaborate with them…

Spending the day at the Animal Farm Adventure Park in Somerset

During our recent family holiday to Somerset, we were given the opportunity to revisit the amazing Animal Farm Adventure Park in Berrow. It was a super hot day, but we were stocked up with sun cream, bottles of water and the kids couldn’t wait to explore. Being non-drivers, we took the bus which took us around 40mins to get too, however, if you’re in a car? It will take you about 15mins. The bus we got was available from our Haven holiday village in Burnham on Sea, but it goes along the promenade in Burnham and along the usual bus…

Haven Activity Passes | Review

During our recent stay at the Haven Holiday village in Burnham-on-sea, we collaborated with Haven to review some of their prepaid activity passes. We have been on a few Haven holidays, but the activities were never really an option for us before because we either spent too much time outside of the holiday village. Or one or more of the children were too young to get involved – so we decided if they all couldn’t do them, then none of them would. However, during this recent Haven holiday, they could all get in on the action. The first activity we…

Helping my kids breath easy, with Colief

There is nothing worse than when our children get a cold; and as any Parent would, we wish we could take it from them, am I right? I remember most of the times my children have had a cold – thankfully they have my immune system and it’s not that often. Maybe once a year *touches wood*, but helping them get through the day is nothing compared to getting them {and you} through the night.  I was very kindly sent some Breathe easy Patches from Colief and they could not have come at a better time, because my youngest, Annabelle…

Combining colouring in & virtual reality with Mardles DiscovAR | Review

Who would have thought, that in 2018, our children could colour in a super fun picture and have it come to life? Like, actually come to life, with the help of virtual and augmented reality. I was kindly sent a Mardles DiscovAR pack which is where you can bring, whatever you colour in, to life.  This is such a nifty idea, so huge hats off to Sharon & James, the creators for coming up with this pretty awesome idea. You download the Mardles app, for free, and in the bundle we received, we got a 4D colouring-in book along with some…

3 ways to soothe Chickenpox | ViraSoothe Spray Gel

Chickenpox is horrible and it can spread through an entire class of children in no time at all. When my son Jacob brought it home from preschool one day – like some sort of stealth gift – it spread through our home, like wildfire! None of us had ever had it before and my youngest, Annabelle, was only 8weeks old at the time, too.  Out of the five of us, my Husband and the baby got it the worst. It turns out, 75% of Jacobs preschool class was off with Chickenpox, too. It’s so contagious and even when it hasn’t…
