FurReal Co-Pilot Chewie from Hasbro | Review

Star Wars has been around, for as long as I can remember. With Star Wars A New Hope coming out way back in 1977 – George Lucas knew he was onto something BIG! Especially with the ever-so-successful sequels, The Empire Strikes Back {1980} and then my personal favourite, Return of the Jedi {1983}.  There are so many great characters, from Yoda, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and let’s not forget my favourite duo Han Solo & Chewbacca. Chewbaccas language is pretty identifiable – you literally cannot mistake it! We were recently sent the FurReal Co-Pilot Chewie from Hasbro to review and…

Family fun with Asmodee Games | Review

In this house, we love a good game. Whether it be video, board or cards. We love it all and it is something that just two or three of us can play or the whole lot of us together. Our games collection grew by two recently, when we were very kindly sent out Dobble & Copra Paw, from Asmodee to review.  I was excited for Dobble because it’s a game that I’ve seen hovering around and I had heard good things – so I was definitely keen to play that one. Also, Cobra Paw is a game that I had,…

Training for Hogwarts with Harry Potter Wizard Training Wands

In this house, we love Harry Potter. From the oldest i.e. me right down to the youngest. So, when I was offered the chance to review a pair of Harry Potter Wizard Training Wands – you can bet your box of Bertie Botts every flavour jelly beans, that I said yes.  These wands are from Jakks Pacific and we received Hermoine Granger & Harry Potter’s Wizarding Wands. My five-year-old snapped up Hermoine’s {her favourite} quicker than you could say “Alohomora!”. Which meant before the older kids got home from school, I was able to be Harry for an hour – much…

Anki Cozmo Robot Review

We have a new best friend in the Super Busy Mum household and even at the age of 38, it’s hard not to fall in love with him. We were recently sent Cozmo the Robot from Anki and he is hands down, the cutest, funniest & most adorable little A.I addition to our home, to date.  The family & I have been testing him over the last month and he has brought us all a ridiculous amount of joy. It’s like having your own little Wall-E and we have all been floored at how he can express emotions {and make…

Autumn, you are our favourite…

Autumn, is such a beautiful time of the year, wouldn’t you agree? I think you’d be hard-pressed to find someone who isn’t a fan of this gorgeous season. I think it’s a tough season not to fall in love with. The gorgeous colours that are everywhere you look, the crunchy leaves beneath your feet and not to mention the hot chocolate on tap! Which, should totally be a thing – don’t you think so?  Our days are getting shorter but if it’s dry outside? We have no excuses not to wrap up warm & go outside. “The fresh air will…

Feisty Pets – Cute & scary cuddling toys | review

“Halloweens coming on & the goose is getting fat! Would you please put a penny in the old man’s hat? If you haven’t got a penny, then a ha’penny will do! If you haven’t got a ha’penny, then God bless you!” This song will forever remind me of Halloween. Back, many moons ago when I was little, dressed in a black bin bag {the witch costume of the mid/ the late 1980s} and carrying my carved turnip. Which, thinking back, were the scariest looking things, ever!  We’re now a good old hop, skip and a massive jump from the mid-eighties era and nowadays,…

We were recently given the opportunity to review the new Smashers Series 2 collectables from ZURU and if there is one thing my youngest daughter loves, it’s collectables {and things you can smash!}. We were also kindly sent the Sludge bus playset which includes a pretty rank restroom as well as being able to fling smashers into a toilet with two exclusive playset gross characters!  This latest series has a certain GROSS twist, coming up to Halloween and all, they are very fitting! You may remember the Series 1 smashers? They were just plain red smashballs for your children to smash? Well,…

Crate Creatures Surprise Review

I am always on the lookout for new & fun toys to capture my daughter’s imagination. We were kindly sent a Crate Creature surprise recently and Annabelle was so excited to open it up to see who she got. Obviously, it says on the side of the box {and his name on the front} but she didn’t like that ruin the surprise aspect for her. You have to love a 5yr old, right! Because it really is all about the excitement of opening things up.  The crates are pretty fun to open – they come with a chain around the…
