We’ve booked our 2018 Summer holiday! {Roll on July!}

I could not be more excited because I’ve just booked our 2018 Summer holiday! When we asked the kids where they would like to go on their next holiday it was a unanimous decision as they all yelled “SOMERSET” in unison. We had such an amazing time at the Haven resort in Burnham-on-Sea in Somerset in 2016 that I’d be lying if I wasn’t as equally as excited as the smalls to be going back too.   We cannot wait to revisit some of the places we travelled too and made such amazing memories at; such as the Animal Adventure Play…

A little holiday in Donegal, Ireland

Over the Summer we managed to get a few days away in Donegal. It’s a place that none of us had ever visited before and what made it even better was, we were getting away with family. I had always heard that Donegal was such a gorgeous place to visit, so we were excited to go & see it for ourselves. The drive there was a long one, and the heavens opened up a few times, sadly, the rain rarely stopped during our four days but that didn’t stop us having fun. It was just myself, the Husband and our youngest…

An overnight stay in Clayton Hotel, Ballsbridge, Dublin

A few weeks ago, the kids & I were invited to have an overnight stay at the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge, Dublin. Which tied in perfectly for our day trip to Dublin zoo, which was on our Summer bucket list for this year – so being able to relax, rather than rushing to get transport home was a real luxury.  We waited until after our time at Dublin Zoo before checking in and as we walked up to the hotel, the kids giggled to how to much it looked like Monsters University whereas I thought it resembled Hogwarts a little. Either…

Our Superhero Day Cruise with Stenaline

A few weeks ago I received a lovely package from Stenaline through the post. It contained some lovely travel style prints of Liverpool & Glasgow, as well as some beauty products and a diary. However, that wasn’t all because there was a little postcard package in there too. As I unravelled it I saw the first card “Have a free trip on us!” and in my excitement, I immediately started searching for where we could go. We have really loved travelling to somewhere different each month and even though we have been keeping it all relatively close to home it…

Our 2016 Haven Holiday in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

It is absolutely bonkers to think that I am back home already and typing up 2016’s family holiday blog post. It literally only feels like yesterday that we hopped into a taxi to take us to the airport to fly over to Somerset for our week of fun & adventure. Now we have returned with a mountain of laundry with my name on it. Gruff. But the kids have happy faces and a whole heap {like my laundry} of new memories to make them remember and smile. That makes it all worth it, without a shadow of a doubt. This was…

Our Eurocamp Holiday Part two

It’s been a week today since we returned home from our first holiday in France with Eurocamp and I’ll not lie, but I’ve been feeling the blues. The holiday blues that is. It turns out as much as I didn’t like the French food and their little weird ways of really odd opening times of their shops etc, I really loved the place. It was a truly beautiful part of the country we chose to visit and if I could, I’d take us all back in a heartbeat. Our first Eurocamp experience could not have been better and I know…

Our Eurocamp Holiday – Part One!

When I first read the email from Eurocamp inviting us to stay at one of their many amazing parks, I was so excited. We hadn’t considered going on a family holiday this year but after the invite from Eurocamp, we knew we had to go! Eurocamp has so many amazing parks to choose from in an array of beautiful countries. Austria, Italy & Croatia to name a few however after many hours we finally chose to visit the Parc La Croix Du Vieux Pont in Berny-Riviere, Paris. France is a part of the World that has always appealed to me to visit…

A Family Holiday with Haven Holiday Park

Going on a family holiday is never easy, especially when you have a small army of children! We wanted to go somewhere relatively close-by as well as being super fun for the kids. We decided on Blackpool and for the first time, staying at a Haven holiday park. There are two Haven holiday parks in Blackpool and we chose to go to Marton Mere. It felt like the perfect place to spend our first family holiday together.  After we clicked that all exciting “Book Now” button it was holiday time before we knew it! It came round so incredibly fast…
