My first NI Blogger Brunch at Eddie Rockets

Last week I was invited along to the NI Blogger Brunch at Eddie Rockets City Diner on the Lisburn Road. This was the first NI Blogger Brunch that I have attended and I have to confess – I almost didn’t go! Being under the same roof as so many bloggers, from all different styles, can {and is} a daunting experience. But I am so pleased I plucked up the courage to go.  I arrived too a 1959 Buick, styled with the Eddie Rocket colours and logo – very snazzy outside the restaurant and every blogger there was going Instagram crazy! It’s all…

Gordon Chemists Blogger Event #GordonsBlackFridayBash

This week I was very kindly invited along to a blogger event, right here in Belfast with Gordons Chemist on Corn Market. It was to promote all of the amazing Black Friday deals that they have available and I can tell you here & now, they have loads! When I arrived on Wednesday night {in the cold & rain – sure that wouldn’t be like Northern Ireland, would it?} the place was buzzing. I saw loads of new faces and a few familiar ones – namely my two blogger friends Hannah from Hi Baby Blog & Rebecca from Mum of a…

The Body Shop in Belfast Blogger Event

Last week I attended a blogger night at the Body Shop in Belfast. Now, if I’m honest, I’ve not been into the Body Shop in years. I’m one of those annoying people who’s never really had any skin issues or wore makeup. So I always thought the Body shop products would be a little lost on me. Oh, how wrong was I!  Firstly, the Body Shop in Belfast has just had a major makeover and the new look of the shop looks fantastic. It has a really sleek and modern feel to it, plus all of the units being white…

A special morning with #BAFTAkids in London

Over the weekend my eldest daughter and I were invited over to London for a very special event. It was with BAFTAKids and it was for a special screening, with Disney Channel UK of a brand new show called Milo Murphys Law. That wasn’t all! We even got to have a special Q&A session with the creators of Milo Murphys Law {& legendary animators} Dan Povenmire & Jeff “Swampy” Marsh who are also the creators of Phineas & Ferb and famous for working on other shows, such as Family Guy, The Simpsons & Spongebob Squarepants. As a young girl, I was that…

McDonalds in Belfast gets a digital makeover!

Before getting into this post I’m going to cast you back to last summer when my family and I took a trip to France. On our trip home we decided to get a McDonalds in the Charles de Gaulle airport {at the children’s request} and this was my first experience with McDonalds going digital and I’ll be honest, I didn’t know what to make of the many giant touch screen menus. However, like most of us Northern Irish folk, we can be quite skeptical of new things and big dislikers of change. But due to no tills, I had no choice…

A morning spent in London, with Skylanders

We were recently invited along to a super cool blogger event, in London, with Activision & Skylanders. My eldest daughter Ellie, and youngest son Jacob are HUGE Skylanders fans and when I told them they could come along too, well, you can just imagine the squeals of excitement.  With an eye twitching alarm going off at 0430hrs, we got ourselves, double checked we had everything we needed and once our taxi arrived, off we went. Thankfully, it being Spring/Summer it was already light {and warm} so the ride to the airport was a pleasant one. Plus, it was really nice listening to…

Talking Bedtime routines with Jo Frost #BathBookBed

Being a Mum to 5 children means I have endless memories of bedtimes routines. Bedtime is my favourite time of day because it’s full of cuddles, quiet time {most of the time} and getting the chance to read beautiful stories to my little ones before tucking them into bed for the night. It’s a truly precious time of the day and no matter how stressful or hard your day was, I think a good bedtime routine resets it all and gets us ready for the new day that lies ahead.

I’m going to Britmums Live 2015!!

Wow…it’s one month to go before Britmums Live 2015 is here! Does it only feel like Britmums live 2014 ended just yesterday for anyone else? This year has FLOWN in it’s actually quite scary {but obviously exciting too!}. My BML ticket & flights are booked, just to sort out a hotel room with my girlies and we’re sorted. Two days child-free, getting to hang out with friends, see old faces, meet new faces, rub shoulders with amazing brands and get inspired by awesome speakers? What’s NOT to be excited about! This will be my second year going and I cannot…

My first Britmums Live Experience!

Wow…what can I say about my Britmums live experience that many, many other bloggers haven’t mentioned in their posts already! I had another post all written up, loads of photos and all about my time there…but it was far, far too long and the last thing I wanted was for my beautiful readers to get bored and move on. So I figured I’d do my post a little different… Was this your first Britmums Live experience? Yes! And in truth? I wasn’t nervous until I saw a wave of other bloggers in the one place. By that point, my tummy…
