ABOUT SUPER BUSY MUM

Mum & daughter

This is my eldest daughter & me at the Guinness World Records HQ in London

When my fifth & final daughter {Yes, I said fifth!} was 2mths old, I was given the idea to start a blog. I thought the idea was absurd at first because what would I write about? But here I am, 5yrs on {which I still find hard to believe} and I have built a beautiful little corner of the web for myself. I have made some amazing friends through the blogging community and my blog is something that I truly cherish. Something I can call my own. Unlike my breakfast when the kids sniff it out!

I’m Deborah – or Debs as most people call me! I am a wife to my darling man & a Mother of five children, none of whom are babies anymore! In order: 18, 17, 12, 9 & 5 – three boisterous sons & two feisty daughters, so, quite the troop! We’re a geeky family; we love our video games {both console & PC}, board games & even fantasy role-playing games such as Dungeons & Dragons. I told you, geeky!

My two eldest boys hate having their photographs taken so they are a rarity on my blog – so I respect their wishes to not be involved much throughout my photos and posts.

Simpeson travel ambassadorship entry

We live in Northern Ireland – an absolutely stunning place that if you have never visited – you should! Sure, we have funny looking money and weird little accents, but we are really a lovely little country of people. Plus, you need to taste a pastie bap or an Ulster fry at least once in your life!

As a family, we love going on adventures, family game nights or snuggling up with a good movie together. I am that Mum who is forever trying to reduce the amount of screen time my children get because I am just desperate for them to be kids. Going out & getting mucky knees, or shoes filled with sand, grassy palms and smiles on their faces. We love ball games during our Spring picnics and flying kites on windy afternoons. I just love making wonderous memories with my children. Moments we can look back on and smile too….and I love documenting those adventures, moments & memories on my blog.

I also love cake. I mean, who doesn’t?

Through the years I have worked with some amazing brands – who I am proud to have built great working relationships with. I have done more travelling than I have ever done – mostly to London because that’s where everything happens in the blogging world! And I have made some life-long friends through this amazing community.

On my blog you can find product reviews, posts about our adventures and travels, milestones, our speech delay journey and my crazy life of being a Super Busy Mum with five children and a rabbit – his name is Hopper!

Just to let you know, any products that I share on my blog are solely reviewed by myself. Those products are not returnable and if you are a brand who would like to discuss a product review collaboration with myself, then please do drop me an email.

I don’t know how you manage those different age groups of children, i struggle to keep a 5 and 10 year old apart.
