A Princess Castle Review with Kid-Eco!

A few weeks ago I was given the fun job of reviewing one of the fabulous cardboard playhouses from Kid Eco. Having three children at home I knew I needed something that they could all fit and play in, so with two girls at home and one little boy we did opt for the large Princess Castle Playhouse.
It arrived in just a few days {I love it when companies don’t mess about} and I was pretty excited to put it up for the kids.

Due to the typical Northern Irish weather, we had to put it up in the front room and even though I knew it was ‘large’ I was very impressed how big it actually was. With some teamwork {and the added non-help from a toddler} the darling man and I put it all together in no time.

Ignore how the additional door panels look. I couldn’t figure out for love nor money how they went on that but was clearly a Super Busy Mum error!

Once it was put together I loved watching Annabelle smash through the doors {this kid knows nothing but being gentle!} and she really enjoyed having a good nosy about the Princess castle. It’s not every day you have a Princess castle up-rooted in your living room!

One thing the kids couldn’t wait to do was to decorate the castle.

So the paints came out, brushes started to stroke and before I knew it we had a gloriously pink and purple castle. The girls did a great job {my son is allergic to crafting of any kind!}.

All of the cardboard playhouses and toys are made from 80% recycled materials and also biodegradable. We found them to be sturdy and actually be able to stand up to the rough and tumble natures of children. They would be awesome for a children’s party, or just for a treat for your child. Great fun! Its SO much fun! not only can the kids play, but they can role play too and then of course decorate it as they please! That was the best part for them I think!

This looks ace – I love that they get to decorate it themselves – a real project for them.
