5 things I would do if I won the lottery! #sp

Winning the lottery, or even the prospect of winning the lottery has been thought of or dreamt of by each and every one of us, right? Of course, I’m right because the idea of winning an obscene amount of money is and would be, life changing. So when I was asked the question “What would I do if I won the lottery”, it got me thinking.

What would I do?? You’d think a question like that would be an easy one considering the amount of hypothetical zeros that would be added to your bank balance, but it turns out, it isn’t! So I have thought long and hard and decided to share with you guys 5 things I would do if I won the lottery.

I’d buy a house. Which seems like the most important thing to do. But buying a home, bigger than the one we reside in now {or buying out our neighbours and converting 2 houses into one} would be my first purchase. I would convert it entirely and make a safe, secure forever home for me and my family.

I’d learn to drive & buy a car. Getting my license and buying a car are still on my ‘grown up’ to-do list, sadly. It’s never been something that I could afford to do and I kick myself that I never did my driving lessons back in college when they were just £12 per lesson. Also, car-wise, as a big family we’d need a wagon {of sorts} and they wouldn’t come cheap either.

I’d put money away for my children. Saving for my children’s future has always been at the forefront of my mind. As their Mother, I want to make sure they wouldn’t struggle and always have money to fall back if needed. Whether that be for their first car, first home or first child.

We would go on a Summer travel adventure. On the school summer holidays following my ‘hypothetical’ lottery win, we would each pick a destination on the globe to visit and stay in for a few weeks. We would have adventures beyond our wildest dreams, we would experience new things and make the most epic of summer holiday memories.

I’d share it with my immediate family. Firstly, I’d want to give enough to my Dad to be able to retire and the relax and maybe even travel. He’s worked his entire life, fought in wars, conquered brain tumours and more. The man deserves a pretty epic retirement. Also, it would be nice to be able to buy other famil.y members home for them too. Making it a huge weight off their minds and allowing them to enjoy life a bit more.

So those are the five things I would do if I won the Euro Millions lottery. We can dream, right? I know I will! 😉

Do you do the lottery? What would YOU do if you won?

Oh I love this question. I have a dream house in my head that I would love to have complete with lovely garden for the kids and dog, a huge playroom for my daughter, a lad-pad for the teenager, garden office for me and top of the range kitchen for my other half. If only…….
