30 Winter Activities to do with the kids this January!

So that’s it. Christmas is over, 2018 is now behind us and we have a shiny new 2019 ahead of us. I don’t know about you, but not only can I not believe it is January 2019! But…I dread this month because anyone who is anyone knows that January lasts for about 129 years! Or at least – that’s how it feels! With it’s horrendous dark & cold days the kids {and you} can get a little stir crazy.

Which is why I decided to put together a jolly good list of Winter activities to do with the kids this January! I have mixed & matched my ideas because taking into consideration the kids will have school – you will have work; whether that be at home or in an office! So there will be a lovely mix of things to do indoors, as well as outdoors {weather depending, of course!}.

As well as nice and easy things to do too, for those afternoons where you’re just not feeling it, or the kids are in a mood! Hopefully, these will help to shake off the gloominess and let the smiles & happy faces shine again.

Let’s kick this list off with something delicious…shall we?

I have made this lovely list of Winter activities to do with the kids this January, into a lovely free printable for you all.

Print it out, stick it on your fridge and tick them off as you go. There is no pressure to do them all, or any! Maybe think of it as more of a guideline for those days when the kids get a little feral and need to be entertained a little more. I know my bunch can get like this – more than I care to admit {it’s mentally exhausting!}. But this list will make the long, long month of January a bit more bearable for us all!

You can download & print the 30 Winter Activities Free Printable and I hope it helps!

You can also find the link for ‘How to make Penguin Poppers‘ right here, too. These look like loads of fun!

What do you have planned for the rest of your Winter? We plan to tick a good few of this list, as well as make a few New Years resolutions – do you have any New Years resolutions that you hope to stick too in 2019?

I think this re great actitivits for a wide age range. My daughter would love anything arts and craft based as she loves drawing at the moment. I might get some play doug( and make clouds with her.

What a super list of things to do! I’m afraid we end up getting stuck in a rut of being on separate screens in separate rooms these days – it’d be nice to do something fun as a family again.
