Toddler Treats: Pancake Muffins!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another week of Toddler treats. I hope you enjoyed last weeks Valentines day themed, Fruity, Yogurty Love Waffles as they were scrumptious!

This week I have for you something I never thought of trying before, but now I have, I can see them being asked for quite regularly as they are DE-licious!!

Pmuffins
For this you will need:

– Pancake mix {I picked mine up from the local Tesco}
– Choice of filling. I went with choccy chips.

And that’s it. Super simple, super easy which is what these toddler treat posts are all about. Something quick and simple to put together around the demanding natures of children. Now, you can choose to make your own pancake mix yourself, I went the easy route and used a ready made mixture because time wasn’t on my side. So a 5min prep and into the oven they went.

They go into the oven on 220 degrees for around 10-12mins or until golden brown on top. One thing I did find was when doing them in my mini muffin silicone tray was I found that they needed turning over for the bottoms to cook before bringing them out of the oven. So be aware of that if you choose to bake them in a silicone tray.

Everytime I peeked into the oven at them I’d be lying if I didn’t get excited when I saw them rise!

I served them up warm with two little tea cups {hijacked from Annabelles Minnie Mouse tea set!} one containing maple syrup and the other with melted Nutella. YUM!

I have to say I had my doubts on how these would taste {I always am with new things} but they really did taste fabulous. Which makes me think if I made my own pancake batter how much better would they taste, you know? So they will be made again soon as they were a massive hit with everyone in the house, including our little sleepover guests.
