Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Lego Review

 As a child to say I was a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle fan {as they were known back then!} would be the understatement of the century. I had the shoes, all of the action figures {Barbie? Pfft, please! Don’t offend me!} and even the jeans {see photo – haha!}

Next is this…

This chest of lego is well over 25yrs old and in the original chest that my Daddy gave to me is SUPER RETRO LEGO pieces! So when Nickelodeon revamped the current TMNT series {which we’re loving by the way!} & both my childhood loves came together to make a lego TMNT creation – my instant thought? Totally tubular dude!

This particular lego kit is aimed at 6-12yr olds and contains all the pieces you need to build your own Mutation Chamber Unleashed, including a very cool Lego Raphael, Victor and Spider Bytez characters.

The instruction manual for this kit was fabulous, superbly laid out making it really easy to follow, even my 5yr old was able to follow it which made me super proud. The visual direction and the way the packs of lego were labelled made this a very fun project to make.

The kids worked together as a team, sharing each page as their job to do. It was really nice to watch them working together like this. Them being off over Easter caused a lot of ‘living in each other’s pockets’ and sibling rivalry, so it was lovely to see that being put aside for the sake of this project.

This lego kit is awesome and not only did the kids have fun making it {and ok, I had fun making it too!} and it looks pretty cool when assembled. RRP for this is around £19.99 and well worth it. We’ve seen other TMNT lego kits that I’m sure will be on the kids birthday/Christmas lists this year.
