Bostik Bloggers: April – Mini Beasts!

Getting the time to craft this month has been a tough one. Life, all of a sudden has become pretty hectic and even though I wouldn’t have it any other way, I do wish it would slow down a little. But anyways, Ellie and I found a little window of free time this week to finally get crafting with Aprils Bostik Blogger craft box. Aprils craft theme was mini beasts and we had lots of fun with this one!

The box contained a little wooden frame, lots of coloured beads, moss and lots more fun things to help us with our garden/mini beasts craft creation{s}.

Ellie decided to use one of the large pieces of blue felt & put together a gorgeous garden scene with the other pieces provided in her Bostik blogger craft box. She used the flower head stickers, pipe cleaners and the butterfly and ladybug stickers to make a really effective garden picture. As you can see, she was pretty pleased with how it came out. She loved using the glue dots that Bostik provided, and I have to say – how did I not know about glue dots before! They’re such a fun & easy product to use when crafting!

Secondly, Ellie used the remaining flowers to decorate the little wooden frame. She’s been looking for a little frame to put on her homework desk and she really loved picking out a photo for it too. She chose one of her little Sister. D’aww!

Lastly, as Ellies creative juices were flowing, she decided to make a ‘dangle’ for her schoolbag. She used a pipe cleaner to feed different coloured beads onto, twisted it at the end and put on a keyring hoop that was provided. As a final touch, she placed two googly eyes onto her creation and voila an instant caterpillar dangle for her schoolbag. Isn’t he cute!

So, that was our crafting creations for Aprils theme of garden/mini beasts! We really enjoyed this one and I’ve now been given strict instructions to buy more glue dots because according to my craft loving daughter “They’re the best thing EVER!”.

See you in May for our next Bostik Blogger challenge!
