Art therapy with Parragon Books

Last year I saw this craze of adult style colouring in books sweep over my social media feeds like a tsunami. There was clearly a new fad in town and I was being swept along with it. Kids colouring in books are so….dull {for one of a better term!} yet colouring in of all ages can be so theraputic. So when this new craze of art therapy books came out, I was all over them.

My ten year old daughter quickly fell in love with these books herself, so when our March Book buddie pack contained two glorious Disney Art Therapy books, I knew they’d be a big hit with her.

Parragon Books recently sent us out a Disney Princess Art Therapy book as well as the Disney Frozen Art Therapy colouring book to review.

For the price of these books, they are a fantastic size. The front covers of the books are really attractive with their glittery sections and they’re all over a pair of super fun looking books.

Inside the Disney Frozen art therapy book,  the pages are sprinkled with loads of glorious art therapy of Disney relations. The beautiful Elsa dancing in snowflakes, Olaf’s pouring over pages and even Sven is in there too. Glitter pens would be the perfect choice of pens for this book {in my opinion}.

The Disney Princess art therapy book has every Disney Princess that you can imagine inside it’s pages. I loved seeing Belle, Tia and even Rapunzel in there too. Lots of Disney favourites to make the face of any little Disney fan smile.

It did not take my daughter long before she was found in a corner, happy as larry and carefully colouring in, or, having some well-enjoyed art therapy. Needless to say, in this house, these books are a huge hit. Thank you Parragon Books!
